PINK VINTAGE SEWING MACHINE

Check out this little vintage beauty.
Clean as a whistle!
(What does that mean anyhow?)

Went to an auction, of course, picked her up for 5.00
I swear it must weigh 50lbs.
All metal parts,
they sure don't make them like that anymore.

Yes it works.
It will probably last forever, like that first microwave I purchased back in 1980.
It's as big as a 19"TV.
That sucker won't stop working.
I think I will name her Penny.

  8. HI, I have the same machine. Picked Pinky up at a Goodwill Store and your are so right. Weighs a ton!! But on the other hand, sews like a dream. I picked up a Singer 301a for free when I bought a table for my Golden Touch and Sew. It was rusted in the table and dust covered. I opened the cabinet to try to get it out, put my foot on the funny foot pedal and it was like a jet plane taking off!!! I then looked it up online, found it to be an antique from 1952 and donated the Golden touch and sew to my repair man. Had it cleaned up and love it. I picked up Pinky because it has some additional stitches which the 301 does not have. It is strictly a forward and back machine. Love my machines and hope you have as much enjoyment as I do.
